The present study aimed to examine the effects of resource recombination on corporate entrepreneurship, considering the mediating role of opportunity recognition and the moderating role of learning orientation in manufacturing firms in East Azerbaijan Province.
Methodology: This applied research was descriptive-survey and correlational in nature. The statistical population consisted of managers and experts of companies operating in the food, pharmaceutical, and hygienic industries of the province (750 firms), from among of whom 254 respondents were selected using Cochran’s formula. Data were collected through a questionnaire and were analyzed applying SPSS version 25 and Smart PLS version 3.
Findings: Results indicate that resource recombination has a positive and significant effect on opportunity recognition, and opportunity recognition significantly affects corporate entrepreneurship. The mediating role of opportunity recognition was confirmed, while the moderating role of learning orientation was not supported.
Implications: The findings highlight the importance of resource recombination in strengthening corporate entrepreneurship among manufacturing firms in food, pharmaceutical, and hygienic industries of East Azerbaijan Province and provide practical implications for managers seeking to develop innovative capabilities.
Originality: By simultaneously examining resource recombination, opportunity recognition, and learning orientation in the context of Iranian manufacturing industries, this study contributes to the development of the corporate entrepreneurship literature.
