Objective: This study seeks to analyze how knowledge, information, and resources are transferred from the external environment to the organization, focusing on extra-organizational communication as a mediating factor, and to show how this process can strengthen organizational resilience. Finally, this research seeks to provide solutions for improving intellectual capital management and external communications in order to increase the resilience and flexibility of organizations in the face of environmental changes.
Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive survey with a structural equation approach in terms of method. The statistical population of this research includes managers and employees of government organizations in Lorestan province. The Cochran formula was used to determine the sample size, and at a confidence level of 95 percent, the number of sample members was calculated as 384 people. These people were selected using simple random sampling. The results of the research indicate that managers' intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on organizational resilience.
Research Value/Originality: This research can help organizations develop strategies to strengthen managers' intellectual capital and improve external communications, which can increase organizational resilience and make organizations more capable in the face of crises and environmental changes.
Implementation/Research Suggestions: Organizations with effective communications with external stakeholders can increase their resilience capacity in crisis situations, in addition to being resilient, and can grow and develop by learning from new complex and critical situations and perform better in turbulent environments.
