Abstract:   (9802 Views)
Work consciousness meaning to perform tasks without close supervision has three main factors: individual, work itself, and administration. Individual needs, drives, motives, attitudes, and personalities interact with job- related factors such as organizational climate and meaningfullness. The result is observed behavior. Administration- the third main factor- should match to other two factors by the use of due procedures and methods, so that individuals can perform their duties without close supervision. If the match is suitable, both individual satisfaction and performance level will be high, otherwise not. In matching those factors, administration can benefit from: punishment and rewad system, decentralization, performance appraisal, and participative management. In this paper, th author has tried to describe each of these factors, along with some attention to the needs and motives of the individuals. Finally some points have been drawn from the discussion and some suggestions have been made.
