هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسایی عوامل مؤثر و پیامد‌های استفاده از داشبوردهای راهبردی مدیریت با روش FCM انجام پذیرفت.
طرح پژوهش/ روش‏‌شناسی/ رویکرد: پژوهش حاضر، به‌‏صورت کمی و کیفی انجام شده است. این پژوهش از نظر هدف کاربردی و از حیث روش گردآوری داده‌ها از نوع پیمایشی و اکتشافی است. جامعۀ آماری پژوهش، مدیران سازمان‌های دولتی و اساتید دانشگاهی بودند و اعضای نمونه با روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و بر اساس اصل اشباع نظری انتخاب شدند.  در این پژوهش برای تحلیل داده‌ها در بخش کیفی، از روش تحلیل محتوا و کدگذاری و در بخش کمّی، از روش نقشه شناختی فازی بهره برده شد.
یافته‏‌ها: نتایج پژوهش بیانگر آن است ‏که بهبود کارایی و اثربخشی سازمانی، مهم‌ترین عامل مؤثر بر استفاده از داشبورد‌های راهبردی مدیریتی است. همچنین افزایش سرعت تصمیم و کاهش هزینۀ اشتباهات تصمیم مهم‌ترین پیامد‌‌ آن است.

ارزش/ اصالت پژوهش: این پژوهش یکی از جدیدترین پدیده‌های سازمانی تحت عنوان داشبورد‏های راهبردی مدیریتی را بررسی کرده است. پژوه‌ش‏های دیگر در این زمینه یا به طراحی داشبورد مدیریتی پرداخته‏‌اند یا داشبوردهای راهبردی مدیریت را با عوامل دیگر سنجیده‌‏اند؛ اما پژوهش حاضر با شناسایی عوامل مؤثر و پیامد‏های استفاده از داشبوردهای راهبردی مدیریت، راهکارهایی را ارائه میکند که مدیران از نحوۀ استفادۀ داشبوردهای راهبردی مدیریت آگاه شوند.
