: he dark side includes situations where people harm others, injustice is prevalent, and greed, wealth, power, and revenge cause unethical, illegal, vile, and unacceptable behaviors. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of a fuzzy cognitive map to identify factors affecting the dark sides of the organization.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and survey and exploratory in terms of data collection method, and has a deductive-inductive research philosophy. The statistical population of the research is experts, including senior managers and managers in the human resources field of government organizations, whose sample members were selected using purposive sampling and based on the principle of theoretical saturation.  In this study, the qualitative part of the data analysis was conducted using the content analysis and coding method, while the quantitative part used the fuzzy cognitive mapping method.In this study, the qualitative part of the findings includes identifying various factors affecting the dark aspects of the organization, and the quantitative part is related to prioritizing these factors. Accordingly, the most important factors affecting the dark aspects of the organization are leadership narcissism, organizational culture and climate, and unethical leadership in the organization Based on the research findings on the dark sides of the organization, it is recommended to develop transparent and meritocratic criteria for appointments and promotions, reduce the role of personal and political relationships, and increase the role of expertise and performance in government organizations.
