Purpose: Flow at work is a psychological concept that refers to a desirable experience that is characterized by absorption, work enjoyment, and intrinsic work motivation and is positively related to indicators of optimal job performance. The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of work-related flow training on Organizational Happiness and Organizational Innivative Behavior.
Methodology: The research method was an experimental study with two experimental and control groups and two stages of pre-test and post-test design. The research statistical population was consisted of the employees of one of the oil companies in Ahvaz. Among whom 40 were selected randomly through simple random sampling then randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. Data were collected by ask participants to complete the Subjective Happiness Scale (Lyubomirsky & Lepper., 1999) and Innovative Behavior Questionnaire (Holman et al., 2012 (in each two stages. Participants in the experimental group attended four sessions of work-related flow training and participants in the control group no received any intervention. To analyze of the data, Multivariate analysis of covariance (MONCOVA) in SPSS version 26 software were used. The significance level was considered to be less than 0.05.
Findings: The results showed that the educational intervention of work-related flow training significantly increased Organizational Happiness and Organizational Innovative Behavior (p<0.05).
