Abstract:   (17116 Views)
Presently there are two different theories of organizational structure. One is "Organizational Behavior", and the other is "Organization Theory" The proponents of Organizational Behavior believe that their views cover micro and macro aspects of organization. Therefore, organization structure, which is a micro aspect of the organization automatically will be a part of organization behavior. Proponenets of Organization Theory believe that the organizational Behavior theory will cover only the micro aspects of organiaztion, such as incentive, leadership style and personality with emphasis on the internal differences and emotional aspects of persons being considered. While organization Theory considers micro aspects of organization and analyzes them as a whole, it considrs people in departments and organization with respect to their different Levels in the organization and their organizational behavior. This paper is written without a bias towards either theory, and examines them with respect to historical evidence and their patterns of progress.
