Abstract: (22 Views)
This study presents a comparative analysis of gamification skills and the competencies evaluated in managerial assessment centers. The research is applied in nature and uses a mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative). A component-oriented method was employed to conduct the comparative study, comparing the competencies of government managers, as outlined in Directive 1657363 of Administrative and Recruitment Affairs Organization, with the competencies measured by the Lumosity Gamification tool. Data were collected through interviews and semi-structured questionnaires. The statistical population includes five experts and evaluators, ten managers from evaluation centers, and ten additional evaluators. The qualitative section was analyzed using the Delphi method, while the quantitative section utilized Pearson's correlation test. The results reveal that the Lumosity application covers nine identified competencies. Specifically, the speed of decision-making skills, analytical thinking, and team-building skills; memory skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking; attention skills about competencies such as convergent thinking, planning, coordination, and systemic thinking; problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving; and flexibility skills, including team-building and adaptability. The final skill identified in the Lumosity application is mathematical problem-solving, alongside monitoring and control skills.
